Your humble web nerd Jetpack is just two days away from leaving for playa. Burning Man 2026 is turning out to be really, really cool and I could not be more excited.
We’ve got a new edition of the Queerburners Event Guide ready to go! This year it includes not only complete listings and the Queerborhood map, but a bunch of new editorial content! We have an article about the Queer Scene at Love Burn by Karloz Torres (who reminds you that “Burning Man is not a Love Burn-sanctioned Event”), Jason Olsen’s story about the giant piano bench he is bringing to Burning Man, Trixie’s history of 20 years of burning with the story of Gender Blender, art and an essay by Victor Tang, Stupid vs. Sexxy, and profiles of some of the well known LGBTQIA+ artists on playa.
